This Saturday, October 26 at 7:30 AM, we will be meeting at Doc Wilson’s In Your Best Interest Medical Clinic located at 1201 Brookside Avenue in Redlands for the…
7th HAUNTED HIGHWAY WALK WITH REDLANDS PSYCHIC MEDIUM BRANDIE KAE!
This year’s Haunted Highway Walk at the University of Redlands is one that I have wanted to organize for a very long time. Recently Jelene Ambriz told me her son…who attends the university…mentioned students were offered a tour of haunted sites on campus. I immediately decided that this is the year to visit the historic university with Brandie!
For decades, students, faculty and staff have reported spirit activity at a number of campus locations. After doing some research of these accounts, I have mapped out a walking route for our walkers that will include those sites as well as a couple I find intriguing and think could have activity.
Brandie, of course, can “pickup” spirit activity at very innocent-looking locations…even if they are not officially on the list. She is a magnet for spirits who are anxious to tell her their stories. She has certainly amazed our walkers with accurate accounts of departed souls and activities that occurred at various sites we have visited in the past.
We will first take photos of all our walkers in front of Doc’s clinic. After photos, we will caravan by car over to Colton Avenue where we will park our cars next to Sylvan Park. I will provide walkers with driving directions. The drive will only take a few minutes. Once we park, we will gather at the University of Redlands entrance on the southeast corner of University Street and Colton Avenue.
NOTE: If you miss us at Doc’s Clinic, we will be gathering at the university entrance at 8:00 AM. Our walk starts promptly at 8:10 AM. I will get a group photo of our walkers on campus and also during the walk.
We are giving away one Sprouts’ Klatch Coffee Gift Card in three different costume categories: Scariest; Most Whimsical, and Most Original. If you have not yet tried Klatch Coffee, you are in for a treat!
Our walk will be about 2 miles total. We will have a couple of hills and some railed stairs to traverse, but overall it should be a very easy route for our walkers. In any event, we recommend that you select costumes that are walking-friendly.
Unlike our typical Saturday morning walk we do for exercise, this walk will be a stroll as we will be stopping frequently to listen to Brandie. It is important that we stay in a quiet group, so we don’t miss any messages Brandie receives. And, also, so we don’t disturb sleeping students as we will be outside a couple of dormitories on our route.
Our estimated finish time is 10:30 AM. We will allow Brandie to stop whenever and wherever the spirit moves her.
After our walk, I will be serving chilled bottled water, lemonade and a few snacks at my car. HOWEVER, PLAN ON CARRYING WATER WITH YOU ON THE WALK. It is forecast to be partly cloudy and in the mid 70’s during our walk but it could still feel warm, so keep that in mind when you are deciding on what kind of costume you plan to wear.
I think you all are going to have a fun morning! I know I will!
